thats-a-righty chappys, tomorrow night is the 2nd pens and friends meeting, the first was awesome, were only expecting more, bigger and better this time and from here on in.
7-9 at the birdcage, bring a pen/pencil/knitting needle, and practice your handshakes, cos we is here to not only draw but to make more friends too, tis social networking but cool man! exciting times!
alloha all, today we begin the count down to the very first PENS AND FRIENDS evening at the birdcage...TWO DAYS TO GO! not much of a countdown, like to keep things simples.
Pens and Friends is a "But I can't draw" friendly art club. At the Birdcage pub on Pottergate, Norwich. Every other tuesday evening beginning the 15th of sept. between 7 and 9.
the idea is: come along with your pen/pencil/paintbrush/knitting needle and join in whatever happenings we have planned, ie. Giant games of missfits (i draw the head, you draw the body, he does the legs...etc.) finger painting, funny life drawing, meeting other illustrators/artists/postmen/cats who like to draw and stuff for fun and make friends with them, maybe share your pens with them and let them draw a picture of what they think you might look like as a clown maybe.... the point is that its a very relaxed event, dont need to be able to draw cos that aint what its all 'bout.
This site will be where you can catch up on whats coming up, exciting events and guest visitors but mostly where your work will be proudly put on display for all to see... terribly exciting.
